Question :

Dear Dr. Terawan and staff,

My father-in-law had a stroke in 2014 and he cannot move his left hand and he was also diagnosed to have a clotting due to cholesterol. His condition is not back to normal and his vision is now blurry and often feels tired. My questions are:

1. Is it possible to do Brainwash for a stroke occurred in 2014?
2. Can we use BPJS for this?
3. Is there any relation between his blurry vision, exhaustion with the stroke?

Thank you. Yohanes Iwan (Wonogiri).

Answer :

Dear Mr. Yohanes Iwan,

Thank you for your question.

We suggest you and your father-in-law to consult with dr. Terawan Agus Putranto, Sp.Rad-KRI:

  1. You can contact our Administration Staff at (021) 4521001, 4520201 Ext. 28318 to be registered. Please bring your Brain MRI / MSTC-Scan results (if there is any). You can also consult with our DSA Team dr. Soewandi, Sp.Rad(K).
  2. Currently we have not accepted BPJS payment.  The cost of treatment also depends on your ward selection. Your father-in-law will be treated by a neurologist, internist and will go through diagnostic examinations such as Lab tests, Thorax X-Ray, ECG for DSA preparation.

Hope this information helps.
