My baby is almost 2 months old born premature 2.1 kg and now gaining to 2.7 kg. The question I want to ask is, why after drinking canned formula milk Nutrilon Royal, (the previous milk was Neosure) my baby is really active and straining. I made the milk in thin consistency because I’m afraid my baby can’t poop. Waiting for your information. Thank you.

Thank you for the question that was sent to us.

- The straining and motionly active baby is possibly because of  the baby is only stretching itself.

- The use of formula milk is better to follow the instruction that is applied in each packaging. There is 1 pint diluted to 30ml, and the other one, a pint of milk diluted to 60ml.

- Constipation is characterized by hard stool consistency and the shape is round like goat droppings and his poop circle is irregular every day, could be three days or more. In infants, long-shaped form of feces and mushy consistency is still normal.
