Doc, last week when I woke up, my left ear felt like there was  water inside. The next morning, I also felt it on the right ear. And then 2 days ago, I went to a clinic, and was diagnosed with ear infection and was given with drops medicine, anti-inflamation, and antibiotic. But now, both of my ears feels like there is water inside my ear, so my hearing is a bit lacking otic. Thank you for the question that was sent to us,
The feeling of having water inside the ear can be 3 things:

1. There is a fluid in the middle side of the ear because of coughing, flu, phlegm from the nose to the ear.
2. There is a fluid in the outer side of the ear because of the developing earwax caused by the water that comes inside while bathing.
3. Fluids because of the outer ear infection.

If the following feeling still appears even after treatments, better have further consultation with the ENT Specialist.
